Is it safe? Will my child get hurt?

Classes are safer than most sports. Coaches teach controlled techniques from day one. We focus on technique over power, so beginners work slowly with proper protection. Injuries rarely happen and are comparable to soccer or basketball.

Do I need experience or athletic ability to start?

No. Classes are for all levels. We start everyone at the basics, belt-rank progression means kids advance at their own pace. Your child doesn't need to be athletic or have martial arts experience.

What do I wear and bring?

Comfortable workout clothes. Gloves (we rent free or you can buy). Shin guards if you're doing Krav Maga. A water bottle. Bring a towel because you'll sweat. Ask the coach about any other gear your specific class needs.

Is there pressure to compete?

None. Training and competing are completely separate paths. Most students never compete. Competition is optional and only once you're ready. We celebrate effort and progress, not trophies.

How often should I train?

Twice a week is solid for steady progress. Three times a week gets you faster results. Once a week is better than nothing but progress is slower. Consistency matters more than frequency — training twice regularly beats sporadically training four times.

Will I actually get fit from this?

Yes. Every class includes warm-up, drilling, and partner work. You're moving for 60 minutes with short breaks. Heart rate stays elevated. You'll build strength, flexibility, and endurance. Most people feel noticeably fitter within 4–6 weeks.
